Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Infection control practices must be maintained at all times.
• Experience with inventory control concepts and PAR levels preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive, decontaminate and process instruments, supplies and equipment.
• Perform sterilization and high-level disinfection.
• Prepare linen packs and instrumentation for sterilization and maintain sterilizers per manufacturer guidelines.
• Deliver case carts and update instrument sets and inventory records.
• On-call in Operating Room on weekends and holidays.
