Job summary

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write and communicate in English.
• CRCST or CSPDT certification required or eligible within 18 months.
• Must provide evidence of CRCST/CSPDT exam and hold CRCST/CSPDT credential.

Responsibilities

• Cleans, assembles, wraps trays of surgical instruments and supports sterilization.
• Disassembles, sorts, cleans, inspects and processes surgical instruments.
• Collects reusable items and dispenses supplies to points of use.
• Maintains, stores and inventories surgical supplies.
• Operates ultrasonic/washer equipment and sterilization equipment.
• Performs record-keeping for sterilization per Joint Commission requirements.
