Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Central Sterile Technician to maintain standards for instrument assembly, decontamination, inspection, and sterilization, ensuring timely case readiness. You will collaborate with Perioperative Nursing to provide sterile instrument sets and carts with accuracy and speed.
Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED, CST certification preferred, or 3 years of Central Sterile experience in lieu of CST. No experience is required if CST cert is held.

Maintains recommended standards for set assembly, decontamination, inspection, containerizing and sterilizing surgical instruments in an accurate and timely manner. Performs sterilization, assembly and storage of medical supplies and equipment. Collaborates with the Perioperative Nursing staff to provide sterile instrument sets, equipment and case carts in an accurate and timely manner. Assists in maintaining consistent and continuous work flow, providing superior customer service.
