Qualifications

• Requires minimum of High School Diploma or GED.
• Completion of an accredited Central Sterile Reprocessing program or 6–12 months relevant experience.
• Certification in Sterile Reprocessing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Cleans contaminated instruments and trays using proper cleaning techniques and safety standards.
• Assembles and labels instruments for sterilization and prepares sets across multiple service lines.
• Operates washers and autoclaves following manufacture recommendations.
• Reprocesses vendor/specialty instrument sets and maintains vendor relationships.
• Supports 24/7 operations, handling urgent instrument needs as they arise.
