• Monitor student progress and ensure adherence to CPT curriculum and clinical documentation requirements.
• Coordinate with program director and CPT faculty to support efficient program operations.
• Occasionally attend evening labs to connect with students and coordinate clinical assignments.

Position Summary:

Adjunct faculty are expected to delivercourse materials in a learner-centered environment conductive toengaging students in the learning process. The faculty member inthis position communicates consistently and effectively withstudents, faculty and administrators, and responds tocommunications within a 24 hour period. The faculty is responsiblefor managing this course through timely grading of assignments,providing substantial student feedback with assignments, andsubmission of clinical evaluations, attendance and grades. MassBay Community College seeks a qualified adjunct CentralProcessing Clinical Instructor for current and future semesters.The successful candidate will join a vibrant, inclusive educationalcommunity and demonstrate the ability to work effectively with avaried student population. This role supports continuity in theclinical program by serving as a point of contact for students andclinical partners, monitoring student records and progress, andensuring adherence to college and healthcare partner protocols. Theinstructor conducts scheduled daytime clinical visits and helpsensure the program aligns with MassBay’s Central Sterile Processing(CPT) curriculum and clinical documentation requirements. Theposition requires close collaboration with the Surgical Servicesprogram director and CPT faculty to support efficient programoperations. The instructor may occasionally attend evening labs toconnect with students and help coordinate clinical assignments.Candidates must have experience and certification in CPT orSurgical Technology, communicate effectively, evaluate studentsobjectively, and work collaboratively as part of a team.
