Job summary

Trinity Health Of New England is hiring a Central Sterile Supply Tech to join our mission-driven healthcare team. The role requires coordinating instrument processing, case cart management, and collaboration with nursing units and surgical areas.

You will maintain sterilization standards, assist with scheduling, and support efficient department operations. Qualifications include at least five years in Central Sterile Processing, a valid Central Service Certification (CBSPD or CRCST), and strong

Qualifications

Minimum 5 years of experience in Central Sterile Processing.
Central Service Certification (CBSPD or CRCST) is required.
Knowledge of sterilization standards and procedures and CS terminology.

Responsibilities

Educate staff on proper decontamination of surgical instruments and equipment.
Ensure proper assembly and packaging of instrument sets for steam sterilization.
Collaborate with OR Manager to ensure flow and availability of instruments.
Assist with timekeeping and scheduling.
Perform biological monitoring within the Central Sterilization Processing Department.
Prepare Code Blue carts and distribution rounds.
Monitor and order supplies as assigned by manager.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
