Job summary

Qualifications

• 2 years of prior patient care experience required.
• Phlebotomy skills check off required within 90 days of hire.
• BLS certification issued by the American Heart Association before hire.

Responsibilities

• Provides direct patient care under the supervision of a licensed nurse.
• Performs vital signs pre/post treatment and monitors patient condition.
• Assists with activities of daily living and comfort measures.
• Documents information timely and accurately and reports changes to the nurse.
• Maintains a safe and clean working environment and adheres to policies.
• Demonstrates safe work practices and participates in safety programs.
• Supports professional growth and continuing education requirements.
