Job summary

Kaiser Permanente is hiring a Central Service Technician II at Capitol Hill, Seattle, WA. This role handles inventory, decontamination, sterilization and distribution of surgical devices and equipment in a fast-paced sterile processing environment.

Qualifications include 1+ year in CS/OR instrumentation reprocessing, a high school diploma or GED, and certification within 3 months of hire. Onsite schedule is 40 hours weekly with evenings; union SEIU involved.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in central service or OR instrumentation reprocessing.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Registered Central Service Technician within 3 months of hire OR Sterile Processing Distribution Technician within 3 months of hire.
• Ability to multi-task and maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Handle inventory, decontamination, inspection, maintenance and assembly of surgical devices and instruments.
• Disassemble, clean, disinfect and sterilize reusable instruments and medical devices.
• Assemble, package, store and distribute reprocessed products.
• Provide excellent customer service to internal/external customers and support case coordinators.
