Job summary

Vitalis Security, an affiliate of Black Knight Security, is seeking a Central Security Manager to lead a SOC team and oversee 24/7 monitoring operations. You will develop policies, train staff, and ensure timely incident response while maintaining strong vendor relationships and client analytics delivery.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent, 3+ years in an SOC, and at least 2 years in supervision.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).
• Two years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and mentor a team of SOC analysts.
• Oversee daily SOC operations ensuring 24/7 monitoring coverage and adherence to response times.
• Develop, implement, and maintain policies, procedures, and escalation protocols.
• Conduct ongoing training, quality assurance reviews and performance evaluations for SOC staff.
• Monitor performance metrics and produce regular operational reports for senior leadership.
• Lead investigation of security incidents, ensuring thorough documentation and timely resolution.
• Manage vendor and platform relationships relevant to monitoring and security operations.
• Develop and deliver customer analytic packages with actionable insights into alarm activity and system performance.
• Serve as a senior technical resource for customer escalation involving platform integrations, camera systems, and alarm monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot camera system connectivity, configuration, and video quality issues.

Vitalis Security combines intelligent video analytics, access control, environmental management, and monitored alarms into a single easy to use platform. We are currently seeking a highly skilled and motivated CentralSecurity Managerto join our dynamic team.

Shift: rotating evening/overnight shifts (4pm-11pm; 11pm-8am).

What You Will Do:

• Lead, schedule and mentor a team of SOC analysts.

• Serve as a senior technical resource for customer escalation involving platform integrations, camera systems, and alarm monitoring.
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues across multiple platforms.
• Troubleshoot camera system connectivity, configuration, and video quality issues.

What You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
• Three years of experience in a Security Operations Center (SOC).

• Demonstrated technical troubleshooting skills with alarm/video system integrations and IP camera systems.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

What Would Be Nice To Have:
