The NC Department of Adult Correction seeks a Central Regional Recruiter (Agency HR Consultant I) to build a strong candidate pool for roles like Correctional Officers and Probation/Parole Officers across Alamance, Caswell, Chatham, Durham, and surrounding counties. This field-based position emphasizes strategic recruitment and outreach.

You will collaborate with colleges, boards, and community partners, coordinate recruitment events, source candidates, and report on metrics.

Qualifications

• Experience planning and implementing strategic field recruitment initiatives.
• Experience using social media tools and electronic platforms in the recruitment process.
• Experience candidate sourcing.

Responsibilities

• Collaborating with colleges and professional boards to plan recruitment events.
• Gathering information to provide feedback on recruitment.
• Participating in NC DAC career and hiring events and job fairs.
• Speaking with students about opportunities within NC DAC.
• Preparing presentations and maintaining spreadsheets for applicant tracking.
• Using advertising, marketing and social media to promote positions.
• Communicating with applicants and internal/external stakeholders at all levels.
