OPENLANE is seeking a Central Processing Specialist to support accounting and document management for our Carmel, Indiana operations. You will reconcile transactions, post payments, and facilitate smooth floorplan operations with field branches and auction partners.

A detail-oriented, adaptable, and customer-focused mindset is essential for success in our fast-paced environment. Ideal candidates bring automotive or financial services experience and are proficient with Google Workspace.

Responsibilities

• Accurately reconcile, verify, and post incoming and outgoing transactions including refunds and proceeds.
• Act as primary operational point of contact between branches, managers, and auction partners to support floorplan operations.
• Assess payments against partner statements ensuring accurate posting to customer accounts.
• Investigate and resolve non-routine floorplan discrepancies and misallocations.
• Provide timely, professional communication to internal teams and external partners to resolve bottlenecks.
• Perform loan processing, quality checks, and routing of financial and title documents.

**We're Looking For:**We are seeking a Central Processing Specialist with experience in accounting support, administrative support, and document management. You will be part of a central processing team responsible for providing accurate and responsive services to internal and external customers. You will be involved in managing incoming documentation, facilitating customer communications, and providing accounting support by manually processing incoming and outgoing payments, posting dealer refunds, and recording proceeds from sales - tasks that require a high level of data accuracy. In this role, you will have the opportunity to use your experience in quality assurance and clerical support.
