Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a Central Plant Lead in Round Rock, TX. You will serve as the technical and operational authority for the Central Utility Plant, leading day-to-day operations and critical activities to ensure reliability and business continuity.

You will mentor operators and engineers, manage preventive maintenance, and champion a zero-incident safety culture while coordinating with clients and auditors.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in central plant or critical mechanical systems operations.
• 2–3+ years in a lead/supervisory role within a plant environment.
• Strong maintenance execution including troubleshooting across mechanical, electrical, and controls systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead day-to-day operation of the Central Plant including chillers, boilers, cooling towers, pumping systems, and building automation systems.
• Direct critical plant activities such as startups, shutdowns, load transfers and abnormal conditions; act as the technical authority.
• Own preventive and predictive maintenance programs and drive corrective actions.
• Provide daily leadership and technical coaching to operators and engineers; supervise after-hours on-call and development.
• Enforce safety compliance with OSHA, NFPA, EPA, ASHRAE; lead lockout/tagout and confined space protocols.
• Communicate plant status and risks to clients and support audits and performance reviews.
