Job summary

Hokanson-Companies,-Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and repair boilers, HVAC, pumps, and related controls across the facility, ensuring safe, efficient operation and occupant comfort.

You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on MEP systems, monitor data, troubleshoot equipment, keep detailed records, and collaborate with engineers and management on upgrades while adhering to safety and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; knowledge of HVAC, mechanical or electrical systems preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in central plant or commercial building maintenance.
• Ability to read technical manuals, drawings, and schematics; strong problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Operate boilers, air compressors, water treatment, and central plant equipment.
• Perform preventive, routine, and corrective maintenance on MEP systems.
• Monitor data, respond to alarms, and analyze operating conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance, inspections, repairs, and parts.
• Support energy management by optimizing equipment performance.
• Coordinate with engineers and contractors on upgrades and capital projects.
