Job summary

Hokanson-Companies, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain, and repair central plant equipment including boilers, HVAC systems, and pumps.

You will monitor performance, analyze data, troubleshoot issues, and ensure safe, efficient building operations. The role requires at least 3 years in central plant or commercial building maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and knowledge of boilers/HVAC.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 3 years of central plant or commercial building maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of boiler and HVAC system operation and maintenance.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain boilers, air compressors, water treatment systems, and other central plant equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
• Monitor, record, and analyze equipment data; respond to alarms or unusual conditions.
• Troubleshoot and repair pumps, motors, valves, and control systems.
• Maintain records of maintenance activities, inspections, repairs, and parts inventory.
• Assist energy management and conservation by optimizing equipment performance.
• Respond to emergency calls for plant equipment failures or malfunctions.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and management on upgrades and capital projects.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and regulations.
