Job summary

UAB Medicine located in Florida is seeking a Central Plant Chiller Mechanic responsible for maintaining and optimizing chilled water systems across campus facilities. The position offers a pay range between $24.05 and $31.30 per hour based on qualifications and experience, with a regular day shift schedule and onsite work arrangement.

Qualifications

• Minimum four years of related experience required.
• Current EPA Section 608 Technician Certification required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on chillers and refrigeration systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical components.
• Operate refrigerant recovery and recycling equipment.
