Job summary

The State of Minnesota's Direct Care and Treatment (DCT) division in Vadnais Heights is seeking a Central Office Supervisor to oversee administrative operations and personnel transactions, ensuring alignment with agency policies and programs.

The role emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, and process improvement, with day shift hours (8:00am–4:30pm) Monday to Friday and a focus on equity, training, and development within the DCT team.

Qualifications

• One-year of lead work or supervisory experience in an office setting.
• Managing and/or coordinating the workflow of an office.
• Leading, directing and/or guiding employees on job duties, assigning tasks and work teams, reviewing work, overseeing projects, and mentoring.
• Overseeing office supply inventory and/or budgets.
• Experience using desktop software and applications, equipment, and systems to direct and perform work including but not limited to: Microsoft office: Outlook, TEAMS, Word, Excel, PowerPoint

Responsibilities

• All personnel transactions for administrative support positions including hiring, discipline, directing work assignments and reassignments.
• Develop, implement, and enforce operating policies and procedures for the day-to-day operations for DCT.
• Provide leadership and direction on projects
• Develop strategies for effective management of business processes and communication methods and practices.
