Aspirus Stevens Point Hospital in Stevens Point, WI, is seeking a CENTRAL MONITOR TECHNICIAN to join our MONITOR ROOM team!

The Central Monitor Technician is responsible for the operation of the arrhythmia analysis computer in the central monitor station, under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The technician performs tasks for which they are trained and have demonstrated competency, as defined by this job description.

Hours: Part Time 0.6 FTE, 48 hours biweekly

Experience and Qualifications

• High school diploma required; healthcare-related training such as LPN, EMT, MA, or nursing assistant preferred.
• Advanced EKG course and/or competency exam to be completed upon hire.
• Previous healthcare experience preferred to develop skills with LPN, nursing assistant, EMT, or related roles.
