Job summary

Skies Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center is seeking a Central Supply Assistant who will manage medical and nursing supplies, restock central supply, and assist with facility maintenance. You will develop weekly orders, monitor usage, and ensure items match purchase orders.

Typical duties include restocking, verifying pricing on invoices, and maintaining reorder points to support nursing operations. This role supports patient care in a long-term care setting.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must be familiar with nursing and medical supplies used in long-term care or healthcare.
• Must have a working knowledge of inventory management tools, online purchasing system, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Email), other business systems.

Responsibilities

• Manage medical and nursing supplies inventory by organizing and distributing within central supply.
• Develop and place weekly orders; monitor and report on supply utilization to nursing and administration.
• Establish and maintain reorder point information for routinely used products.
• Restock unit-based locations and patient rooms from central supply.
• Verify items on invoices are priced correctly.
