BlueScope North America is seeking a Central Maintenance Machinist/Mechanical Technician to support the Central Maintenance department. Responsibilities include safety adherence, housekeeping, project problem-solving, and accurate reporting in Maximo.

You will read blueprints, perform machining tasks, and participate in continuous improvement. The role requires flexibility to cover days or night shifts and to work overtime when needed, with a strong teamwork mindset.

Competenze

• Must perform safely with strong attendance.
• Willingness to work in all areas of the plant.
• Willingness to work overtime as needed.
• Ability to cover day and night shifts.
• Tier 3 Mechanical Technician skills and experience.
• Acceptable Mechanical Aptitude Test scores.
• Level 1 Certification in NIMS or equivalent.
