Saint Alphonsus Health System in Boise, Idaho is seeking a Central Processing Tech for a part-time weekend shift. Bring your phlebotomy/lab tech experience to coordinate the central processing area and ensure high-quality specimen handling for in-house and reference testing.
Responsibilities include registering specimens, billing for reference labs, and serving as a resource for staff on tests and EMR ordering. Weekends: Saturday 7:00 am–2:45 pm; Sunday 7:00 am–7:30 pm.

We are seeking for a Central Processing Tech for our Treasure Valley Labs located in Boise, Idaho. This is a Part time Weekend Shift. In this role you can make a difference by applying your current phlebotomy/Lab Tech experience and skills.
Our ideal candidate performs and coordinates the activities of the central processing area of the clinical laboratory. Accountable for quality and quantity of all inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratory specimens sent for in-house testing and to reference laboratories. Responsible for billing functions for reference laboratories. Registers patient specimens received from outside locations. Works cooperatively with TVL laboratories for all specimens received for testing Serves as a resource for all clinical staff with regards to laboratory test questions. Serves as a resource for clinical staff with regards to ordering laboratory tests in the EMR. Reports directly to the POCT Laboratory Coordinator. Performs and coordinates the activities of the central processing area of the clinical laboratory. Accountable for quality and quantity of all inpatient and outpatient clinical laboratory specimens sent for in-house testing and to reference laboratories.
Schedule: Part time, 20 hours per week
