Qualifications

• B.S. degree in Medical Technology or related discipline is required.
• Must have valid NYS Clinical Laboratory Technologist license or permit reflected within NYS Office of Professions prior to starting.
• Clinical rotation from an accredited school, in a hospital setting.
• Experience as Charge Technologist as required by NYS.

Responsibilities

• Perform tests on body fluids to provide information for diagnosis and treatment of patients.
• Organize work to ensure priority testing is efficiently performed.
• Uphold guiding behaviors, standards and adherence to Core Values.
• May perform Charge Technologist duties when called upon with six years of CLT experience.
