Job summary

Oakland Unified School District Central Kitchen-Nutrition Services in Oakland, CA seeks a Production Assistant to support meal production for district sites in a high-volume central kitchen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• One year food handling experience required.
• Valid Serve Safe Food Safety Certificate required.
• Valid California Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients and package foods according to SOPs.
• Follow HACCP and food safety procedures.
• Maintain sanitation and clean equipment and work areas.
• Assist with set-up and breakdown of packaging equipment.
• Interact with staff and maintain professional conduct.
