Bridges Health is seeking a Weekend / Part-Time Central Intake Admissions Coordinator to act as the primary contact for referral sources and guide admissions to Bridges Health Managed Community. The role coordinates intake and collects clinical and demographic information to support timely decisions.

Candidates with healthcare, nursing, social work, or clinical backgrounds are preferred. Remote weekend work, with some evenings, is available, with preference for OKC-area experience.

Qualifications

• Background in clinical care such as nursing, respiratory therapy, social work, or related field preferred.
• Previous experience as admissions coordinator in a clinical healthcare setting preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and reimbursement processes.
• Experience with EMR/EHR systems and electronic referral portals such as CarePort and Epic.

Responsibilities

• Conduct initial clinical review to determine patient appropriateness for services.
• Collaborate with referral sources to gather required documentation.
• Verify Medicare Common Working File and insurance benefits and obtain prior authorizations.
• Coordinate admission to a Bridges Health Managed Community.

Weekend / Part-Time Central Intake Admissions Coordinator | Remote Position

Schedule: Part-Time, Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) with potential evening coverage.

The Weekend / Part-Time Central Intake Admissions Coordinator serves as the primary point of contact for referral sources for patients seeking admission to a skilled nursing or long-term care facility. This role coordinates the intake and admissions process, ensures accurate collection of clinical and demographic information, and facilitates timely admission decisions. Candidates with a healthcare, nursing, social work, or clinical background are strongly preferred.

Note: Candidates located in the OKC area with previous experience as an admissions coordinator or hospital liaisons are preferred.

Key Responsibilities
