Siding Products Group (SPG) is seeking a driven, talented, and experienced Injection Molding Process Manager to join our team. The role focuses on driving process excellence using Industry 4.0 methodologies to support our growing business. Projects will aim to reduce variation in critical process variables and develop sustainable systems to enhance processes, performance, and product development across SPG’s extensive product line.
The Central Injection Molding Process Manager will lead cross-functional teams, managing projects to achieve objectives. Responsibilities include overseeing Process Improvement initiatives in Injection Molding, equipment setup, troubleshooting process inefficiencies, and secondary areas such as Blending materials, Feeding materials, and Foam Extrusion processing.
The role involves collaboration with R&D, Quality & Process Control, Plant Operations, Project Engineers, and Product Managers to plan projects, conduct experiments, analyze data, and communicate findings. The candidate will also propose new projects, specify equipment and molds, and support new color development.
This position supports the Process Optimization Support team, assisting with operational challenges across departments like Extrusion, Packaging, and Material Handling.
