Job summary

IKEA is seeking an experienced operations leader to guide and develop the central fulfilment unit, ensuring customer-centric, high-performing store and distribution operations. You will lead budgeting, process implementation, and cross-functional collaboration to drive efficiency and cost optimization.

The role requires a university degree in Economics, Logistics or Supply Chain or related experience, plus several years of managerial and labor-relations acumen.

Qualifications

• University degree in Economics, Logistics or Supply Chain or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 3 years of managerial experience.
• Knowledge of labor laws and third-party relations (unions, external service providers etc.).
• Fluent in English, both written and spoken.

Responsibilities

• Lead, steer, plan, support and follow up the operations and the development of the organization within the unit and for a customer-centric and high-performing Store and/or Customer Distribution operations in the assigned unit.
• Drive daily operations connected to the assigned central fulfilment unit including SOPs, planning, execution, follow up and continuous improvement with focus on quality and cost.
• Lead and develop budget and results for the central fulfilment unit and optimize costs to improve performance and efficiency.
• Ensure implementation of new warehousing processes, technology and ways of working in the central fulfilment unit.
• Collaborate with key partners and stakeholders at all levels and represent the central fulfilment unit in decision bodies, contributing with knowledge and expertise to development and sourcing activities.
• Ensure seamless communication with all stakeholders connected to the unit's operations, following a customer-centric, collaborative, end-to-end mindset.
