Job summary

Doctor's Choice Placement Services, Inc is seeking Pain Management physicians for an expanding outpatient practice in Orlando, Florida. The position offers competitive compensation, a comprehensive benefits package, and ownership and directorship opportunities.

Qualifications

• Must have obtained an MD or DO degree and completed an accredited residency program and Pain Management Fellowship.
• Licensure: Florida medical license and Federal DEA Certification required.
• Knowledge of current comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans.

Responsibilities

• Prescribes pharmaceuticals and treatment regimens to patients.
• Provide a comprehensive medical evaluation for chronic pain patients.
• Maintain quality, safety, and infection control standards.

Skills

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care

Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services

Expanding Pain Medicine practice in need of highly productive Pain Management physicians.

• Chronic pain management practice. Primarily medication management and injections.
• 100% outpatient - No nights
• Outstanding compliance and solid vetting process
• 100% of patient's referrals from physicians
• Current Physician is Retiring
• Office Hours are 8:30-3:30 Mon-Thurs
• Payor Mix: 90% Medicare, NO Medicaid
• Patient Volume: 30-35 Patients a day

Responsibilities and Duties

• Prescribes pharmaceuticals, other medications, and treatment regimens as appropriate to medical conditions.
• To provide a comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients with chronic pain
• Ability to maintain quality, safety and/or infection control standards
• Abides by the medical practice standards act.

Qualifications and Skills

• Education: Must have obtained an MD or DO degree and completed an accredited residency program and Pain Management Fellowship.
• Licensure, Registry Required: State of Florida and Federal DEA Certification; valid Medical License
• Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for the delivery of medical care.
• Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standard
• Knowledge of community medical diagnostic and patient care services in area of medical expertise
• Knowledge of current comprehensive medical evaluation, including diagnosis and treatment plans for patients in chronic pain.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
• Must be credentialed per facility policies and procedures.
