Job summary

Albertsons Companies is seeking a Pharmacist for the Central Fulfillment site in Phoenix, AZ, on a 2nd shift (2:30 PM – 11:00 PM). The role ensures accurate prescription verification in a closed-door environment and leads the shift team under the PIC/GM guidance.

Responsibilities include supervising technicians, ensuring compliance with laws and company policies, and driving quality assurance, training, and continuous CF program improvements.

Qualifications

• PharmD or B.S. in Pharmacy from an accredited college.
• Licensed Pharmacist in the CF home state for at least 1 year.
• At least 1 year of retail pharmacy experience or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Pharmacist verification of prescriptions and quality checks.
• Supervise pharmacy technicians per Board of Pharmacy rules.
• Support store pharmacy operations to meet business objectives.
• Handle preparation, dispensing and sale of prescription products.
• Develop and implement CF programs to boost prescription volume.
• Provide PIC updates on pharmacy operations and compliance.
• Ensure adherence to state, federal laws and company policies.
• Train and develop pharmacy staff; maintain home-state licensure.
• Complete required trainings (HIPAA, CDR, I-pledge, etc.).
• Address complex operational issues with compliant solutions.
