Job summary

Sunbelt Rentals, Inc. is seeking a Central Service Dispatcher in a fast-paced team environment. You will ensure prompt receipt and delivery of equipment to customers and other Sunbelt stores in line with company standards and DOT regulations.

The role requires coordinating road mechanics, scheduling efficiently, and maintaining equipment logs. Strong communication and knowledge of local delivery areas are essential for success.

Qualifications

• High School Education required.
• Working knowledge of the DOT Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations.
• Customer Service & Dispatch training a plus.
• At least two years prior knowledge of the applications of various construction/industrial equipment.
• Working knowledge of the delivery area.

Responsibilities

• Assist Central Service Manager in coordinating dispatch of Road Mechanics to service equipment.
• Create and monitor road mechanic schedules.
• Create and monitor receipt and maintenance schedules for company equipment.
• Review daily and weekly driver logs per company and DOT standards.
• Perform daily truck inspections per company and DOT standards.
• Work with other store locations to meet customer equipment needs.
