Job summary

Sutter Health is seeking a Per Diem Distribution Associate for CPMC-California Pacific Med Center - Mission Bernal in San Francisco. You will distribute supplies and equipment to facility departments, receive and unpack shipments, rotate stock, and monitor for outdates under supervision.

The role requires basic computer skills (MS Office, EPIC) and strong communication. This position is Non-Exempt, with unions, and offers a per diem schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess written and verbal communications skills to communicate with fellow team members, supervisors, patients, and other hospital personnel.
• Well-developed time management and organizational skills, including the ability to prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Work independently, as well as be part of the team, including accomplishing multiple tasks in an environment with interruptions.
• Basic knowledge of computer applications, such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel and Outlook), EPIC, and related information systems.
• Prioritize assignments and work within standardized policies and procedures to achieve objectives and meet deadlines.
• Build collaborates relationships with peers and other staff members to achieve departmental and corporate objective.

Position Overview:

Executes basic distribution of supplies and equipment to the facility departments under close supervision. Able to receive and unpacks supplies, rotates stock and check for outdates materials and supplies as needed. Gains confidence and cooperation from entry-level employees through competent job performance and routine communication. Adheres to all local/state/federal regulations, codes, policies and procedures to ensure the privacy and safety of our patients. May be authorized to transport and deliver legend drugs and dangerous devices - including needles and syringes, non-prescription drugs, contrast media, and drug-containing devices relative to core competencies of the position.

Pay Range is $29.94 to $36.51 / hour

The posted pay range is based on the position’s primary work location. Candidates who reside and work outside of that location may be subject to a different pay range based on their work location.
