Job summary

Rupeek, a Bengaluru-based fintech, is seeking an Auditor (Central Auditor) to learn lender ecosystems and audit methodologies across India. You will analyze data, identify triggers, and ensure end-to-end closure of issues.

The role requires 4-6 years of relevant experience in gold loan audits, deep understanding of ornaments weights, and collaboration with cross-functional teams. Willingness to travel and work from office is essential.

Responsibilities

• Read RBI guidelines and internal policies and implement them.
• Collaborate with Tech, IT, Lender, Risk and Compliance teams to gather data.
• Understand SOPs and coordinate with SPOCs across departments.
• Analyze large databases, verify transactions digitally, record observations.
• Summarize observations and drive closure with team leaders.
• Field visits to branches/cities when critical triggers occur.

About The Role

As an Auditor, you will acquire knowledge of all lenders Rupeek is collaborating with. Their business model, audit methodology. Analyze the database, identify triggers, assign them for further inspection and ensure end to end closure of issues.

Education: MBA finance, MCOM or Degree with Audit specific certifications

Experience: 4-6 Years of relevant experience

As a Central Auditor, You Will

• Read and understand related RBI guidelines and internal policies.
• Closely work with Tech team, IT team, Lender partner team, Risk and compliance team to own the audit methodology and get the required data points.
• Understand SOPs and actionable of each department and co ordinate with respective SPOCs
• Work on large data bases analyze the data, verify the transactions digitally, record observations.
• Summarize the observations, validate, discuss with team leaders and raise to respective team leaders.
• Track the observations to closure.
• Field visit to difference branches /cities incase of any triggers which are critical needs field visit
• Present observations with RCA to team leaders
• Monitor transactions happening at branches digitally validate with data.
• Identify fraud prone areas and deep dive on such data points.

Skill

• Excellent knowledge on gold loan industry and business modelGood experience on data management and analysis.
• Hands on experience on large databases on google sheets.
• Analyze the data and arrive at deviations from data analysis.
• Good understanding on type of ornaments and should be able to visually arrive at gross and net weight or ornaments.
• Good communication and Presentation skills.
