Job summary

Starbucks is seeking an experienced Manager - Operations Auditor to lead comprehensive operational audits across stores, service centers, and distribution hubs in a high-impact role. You will build and sustain the risk model for Retail Sites and drive improvements in control environments.

The ideal candidate brings 10+ years in auditing, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and a background in manufacturing or retail.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of experience in auditing or a related field.
• Experience in manufacturing, retail, consumer products, technology, Big Four, consulting, or similar industries.
• Expertise in continuous process improvement methods and tools.
• Demonstrated critical thinking and problem-solving to drive process improvements.
• Ability to simplify complex information to support decisions.
• Strong analytical skills with high business acumen and professional skepticism.

• Review and edit audit workpapers and reports.
• Supervise and train operational audit team members.
• Collaborate with Loss Prevention and operations management to improve controls.

Responsibilities for Manager - Operations Auditor

• Perform operational audits for stores, service centers, and distribution centers as directed by Management.
• Develop and maintain the risk model for the Retail Sites.
• Develop Daily Point of Sale (POS) to Bank reconciliation of Credit Card Sales & Cash transactions by site.
• Review daily bank, sales, purchase, and inventory reconciliations.
• Schedule operations audit resources to ensure the appropriate coverage is maintained and that resources are productively deployed.
• Review and edit operational audit workpapers and reports.
• Supervise and train operational audit team members.
• Partner with Loss Prevention, Store Operations management, and operations management to improve processes and overall control environments.
• Produce daily Exception Reporting and follow up to resolution of issues.
• Communicate audit findings to operations management to accurately report results.
• Work closely with teammates to develop sustainable and value-added relationships.
• Complete process review documentation for specifically assigned audit areas.
• Effectively use Internal Audit tools and resources within assigned areas.

Qualifications for Operations Auditor

• Minimum 10 years experience.
• Prefer manufacturing, retail, consumer products, technology, big four, consulting, or other similar industry experience.
• Expertise in the core methods and tools of continuous process improvement.
• Demonstrates critical thinking and problem-solving ability to drive process control improvements and effectiveness to enhance performance.
• Ability to simplify information or situations to provide clarity and support a decision.
• Good analytic capabilities to manage large volumes of information from multiple sources with high business acumen and professional skepticism.
• Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Accounting, Finance, Business, or related discipline.

• Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹700,000.00 per year
