Job summary

SpartanNash in West Fargo, ND is seeking a store associate responsible for displaying and stocking products and contributing to the store's financial health. You will follow safety, food safety, and guest experience guidelines while helping customers and maintaining inventory.

You will assist with receiving, stocking, rotating products, and ensuring proper shelf merchandising. The role may include cross-department tasks as needed, with emphasis on accuracy and teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma (GED) preferred.
• Ability to read, write, comprehend, and interpret documents.
• Basic mathematical skills.
• Detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist in receiving, unloading, and stacking merchandise in the back room.
• Properly fill, rotate and merchandise shelves, cases and displays on sales floor.
• Notify the manager if products and supplies need to be ordered.
• Have familiarity with all products carried in the departments and know the product locations in the store.
• Handle spoiled/damaged products per established guidelines.
• Maintain clean, attractive and well stocked departments.
• Follow all PPE and Safety Guidelines.
• Follow all Food Safety and Cleaning Expectations.
• Follow Guest Experience Guidelines.
• May be assigned tasks in other departments based on customer experience need.
• Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
