Job summary

The Fresh Market in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Center Store Specialist to be the store’s point person for center store categories including Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine, ensuring product freshness, pricing accuracy and merchandising compliance while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement.

You will execute planograms, maintain product placement and signage, coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment, verify deliveries for accuracy, and

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all Center Store categories meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating and temperature compliance for dairy and frozen items.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during key item transitions and promotional events.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
