Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Center Store Specialist to manage Dairy, Frozen, Bulk, Coffee, Candy, and Beer & Wine categories. You will ensure product freshness, accurate pricing, and compliant merchandising while supporting inventory integrity and guest engagement.

The role emphasizes attention to detail, teamwork, and a proactive service mindset. You will work a flexible schedule including weekends, with opportunities to grow within a welcoming community-focused retailer.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure Center Store categories meet freshness and quality standards.
• Execute planograms and maintain product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with leadership on ordering and replenishment of dairy, frozen, bulk, coffee, candy, beer and wine.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness and proper receiving.
• Support front-end operations during peak times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach on the sales floor.
