Festival Foods in Suamico, WI is seeking a Center Store Assistant Manager-PM to lead across Grocery, Frozen/Dairy, Natural & Organic, and HBC/GM departments, adapting to daily business needs and shifts. You will help maintain inventory, pricing, and guest experiences while supporting afternoon and night operations.

The role partners with the Store Director and department managers to train associates, uphold standards, and drive exceptional guest service.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or restaurant preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the retail food business, especially non-perishable department operations, and strong merchandising skills.
• Familiarity with store operations and the ability to coordinate effectively with store and vendor teams.
• Ability to make timely and effective decisions, communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment, and manage a diverse team.
• Understanding of all safety requirements and company safety policies, with the ability to recognize and react to possible safety hazards.
• Proper training and knowledge of equipment such as hand jacks, balers, forklifts, hand trucks, and trash compactors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and Support Center Store departments adapting based on daily business needs.
• Ensure Leadership Continuity by stepping in and leading teams in the absence of Center Store Manager(s).
• Train Associates to ensure high performance and reinforce company culture, guest service, and performance expectations.
• Meet Department Standards including inventory levels, pricing, and cleanliness.
• Communicate and Collaborate with Store Director and managers to exceed guest expectations.
• Verify Timekeeping and communicate any scheduling issues to HR.
• Provide Helpful Guest Service addressing questions, special orders, or issues.
• Maintain Cleanliness of the department including work areas and shelving.
• Deliver Feedback and conduct performance reviews; document violations and take corrective action.
