Festival Foods in Suamico, WI is seeking a Center Store Assistant Manager-PM to support Grocery, Frozen/Dairy, Natural & Organic, and HBC/GM departments, with afternoon to night shifts and leadership responsibilities. The role involves training associates, maintaining inventory and pricing, and leading during manager absence while delivering exceptional guest experiences through teamwork.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 2+ years of leadership experience in retail, grocery, warehouse, or restaurant preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of the retail food business, especially non-perishable department operations, and strong merchandising skills.
• Familiarity with store operations and coordinating with store and vendor teams.
• Ability to make timely decisions, communicate effectively, and manage a diverse team.
• Understanding of safety requirements and company safety policies with ability to react to hazards.
• Training and knowledge of equipment such as hand jacks, balers, forklifts, hand trucks, and trash compactors.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support Center Store departments, adapting based on daily business needs.
• Ensure leadership continuity by stepping in for Center Store Manager when needed.
• Train, coach and retrain associates to maintain high performance and guest service.
• Meet department standards for inventory, pricing and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with Store Director and managers to exceed guest expectations.
• Verify timekeeping and address scheduling issues with HR.
• Provide helpful guest service and assist with product location and special orders.
• Maintain department cleanliness and organization, including shelving and back stock.
• Deliver feedback and assist with performance reviews and corrective actions.
• Be cashier trained and ready to support closing procedures.
• Honor commitments with regular attendance and advance notice for replacements.
• Support the team with other duties as assigned.
