Job summary

The Save Mart Companies is looking for an Assistant Center Store Manager for Food Maxx in Fresno, CA. This role oversees front-end operations and night crew, ensuring efficient store performance in the absence of store leadership.

The position requires leadership across multiple departments to maintain high standards in service and operations. You will manage merchandising, pricing integrity, stock availability, and safety/compliance while training associates and coordinating with store

Qualifications

One year of college (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).
Minimum six months as Key Carrier or nine months as Perimeter Department Manager or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Provides customers with a remarkable shopping experience by demonstrating, training, and holding store associates accountable for excellent customer service.
Contributes to gross profit goals through price integrity, shrink control, ordering and product management.
Leads associates in the assigned area with accountability for business performance outcomes.
Develops and trains associates; completes supervision reports and fosters a collaborative working environment.
Oversees front-end and center store operations to ensure smooth daily functions and customer satisfaction.
