Job summary

The Save Mart Companies in Visalia, CA, is hiring a Center Store Manager for Food Maxx at 1550 N. Ben Maddox. You will oversee Center Store operations, merchandising, pricing, inventory, and back room conditions to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Two-year college degree (or equivalent knowledge gained through formal education, specialized training, or additional job experience).
• Completion of Assistant Center Store Manager rotation – or - two years equivalent management experience – or - in current Bakery Department Manager or Meat Department Manager or Produce Department Manager role.
• Must be available to work a variety of required retail hours; forklift certification.
• Requires standing and other physical movements on a frequent basis; lifting up to 40 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Oversee Center Store operations and merchandising to optimize sales, profits, and customer satisfaction (including back room and shelving and pricing).
• Provide leadership and direction to Center Store associates to promote a culture reflective of Save Mart's mission and winning behaviors.
• Manage department performance and productivity to optimize store performance.
