Qualifications

• Experience supervising service representatives and health care staff.
• Knowledge of Medicare, insurance rules, and medical equipment availability.
• Familiarity with DOT and FDA safety regulations.
• Strong communication and customer service focus.

Responsibilities

• Interview, hire, train, and supervise quality candidates for service representatives
• Assist with employee files, including coordination of benefits and evaluations
• Interact with Medical Professionals in the community
• Implement safety programs, including DOT and FDA compliance records
• Knowledgeable of Medicare, insurance rules and medical equipment availability
• Responsible for the CHAP effort for the center
• Responsible for organizing and focusing on special programs
• Control inventory and purchasing of equipment and supplies
• Grow the customer base through excellence in customer service
• Oversee profitability of the center and implement cost controls
• Promote effective written/verbal communications
• Maintain a fleet of leased vehicles with preventive maintenance schedules
• Record keeping and inspections of vehicles
• Ensure quality and safe delivery of medical equipment to patients
• May perform equipment set-ups in customers’ homes (oxygen equipment, concentrators, reservoirs)
• May be on-call on a rotating basis; respond to call outs at night and weekends
• May serve as backup when others are out due to absenteeism
