Job summary

Acelero Learning Camden Philadelphia is seeking an Assistant Center Director to act as the operational lead for the center, ensuring compliance with Head Start standards, licensing regulations, and center policies. You will guide teachers, manage data entry and reporting, and support professional growth through coaching and feedback.

The role requires at least 1 year of supervisory experience, an associate degree or higher, CPR/First Aid, and a willingness to travel locally up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree required; bachelor’s preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of managerial/supervisory experience.
• Experience in a preschool program preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification or ability to obtain within first year.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Travel up to 10% for work-related meetings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as operational lead for the Center and Extended Day.
• Ensure compliance with Head Start standards and licensing regulations.
• Coach teachers and support fidelity of program curriculum and child assessment.
• Oversee data entry, reporting, and monitoring of center operations.
• Hire, train, schedule, and evaluate department staff; ensure timely work.
