Qualifications

• MD or DO with active state medical license.
• Board certifications as applicable.
• Experience directing or supervising laboratory testing (min 1 year) or 20 CME credits.
• Certification in anatomic or clinical pathology ideal.
• Strong focus on quality and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the medical and laboratory operations in a compliant manner.
• Serve as primary contact for health departments and regulatory agencies (CLIA).
• Monitor donor suitability, safety and product quality, providing insights to improve operations.
• Train and certify medical staff, fostering continuous learning and excellence.
• Establish and maintain a quality-focused approach to laboratory testing and QA reviews.
• Collaborate with Center Operations and QA teams to improve processes and meet regulatory standards.
