About Triumph ABA

At Triumph ABA, we are committed to providing high-quality, individualized Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that help children and families thrive. We believe strong clinical leadership is essential to delivering ethical, effective, and compassionate care.

As we continue to grow our Raleigh center, we are seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) with active North Carolina LBA licensure to serve as our Clinical Director / Lead BCBA and provide hands‑on clinical leadership for our center.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced BCBA who wants to play a meaningful role in shaping clinical quality and culture while continuing to work directly with clients and families.

About the Role

The Clinical Director / Lead BCBA will provide primary clinical leadership and oversight for ABA services delivered through our Raleigh center, within the scope of their certification, licensure, and assigned responsibilities.

This is a hands‑on, client‑facing clinical leadership position. In addition to providing clinical leadership and supporting other clinicians, the Clinical Director / Lead BCBA will maintain an assigned client caseload and provide direct BCBA services as appropriate.

The role will include treatment planning, clinical supervision, data review, caregiver collaboration, staff mentorship, quality oversight, and other clinical responsibilities associated with providing high‑quality ABA services.

Our Center Manager will oversee the administrative and day‑to‑day operational functions of the center, allowing the Clinical Director / Lead BCBA to remain focused primarily on clinical leadership, client outcomes, staff development, and quality of care.

The position will begin part‑time, with hours based on client availability, authorized services, and the center's developing caseload. As the Raleigh center adds clients and expands its clinical team, there will be an opportunity to increase clinical hours and overall compensation.

Key Responsibilities
Direct Clinical Services
  • Maintain an assigned client caseload and provide direct BCBA services consistent with client treatment plans and payer requirements.
  • Conduct and/or oversee functional behavior assessments, reassessments, treatment planning, and behavior intervention planning.
  • Review client data and make clinically appropriate programming recommendations based on individualized treatment needs.
  • Monitor client progress and modify programming when clinically indicated.
  • Provide caregiver training and support to help families understand treatment goals, interventions, and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, healthcare providers, and other members of the client's care team when clinically appropriate.
  • Maintain timely, accurate, and clinically appropriate documentation for assigned clients.
Clinical Leadership & Oversight
  • Serve as the primary clinical leader for the Raleigh center.
  • Provide clinical oversight for ABA programming and services delivered through the center.
  • Guide clinical decisions related to treatment planning, programming, client progress, and clinical recommendations.
  • Ensure treatment plans are individualized, medically necessary, data‑driven, and consistent with applicable ABA standards and ethical requirements.
  • Review client progress and clinical data and provide direction when treatment modifications are needed.
  • Support appropriate client intake, clinical readiness, transitions in care, and continuity of services.
  • Provide clinical input regarding staffing, caseload needs, and client assignments as the center grows.
  • Provide clinical supervision, mentorship, and ongoing support to BCBAs and behavior technicians, as applicable.
  • Ensure clinical staff implement treatment plans with appropriate fidelity and maintain professional and clinical standards.
  • Observe clinical services and provide constructive feedback, coaching, and performance support.
  • Identify clinical training needs and assist with developing and implementing training initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of accountability, collaboration, ethical practice, and continuous clinical improvement.
  • Support the professional development of BCBAs and behavior technicians within the scope of the role.
Quality & Compliance
  • Maintain high standards for clinical quality, documentation, and service delivery.
  • Support compliance with BACB ethical requirements, North Carolina requirements, payer expectations, and applicable federal and state regulations.
  • Participate in clinical audits and quality assurance activities as appropriate.
  • Identify clinical risks or quality concerns and work collaboratively with organizational leadership to address them.
  • Ensure appropriate clinical supervision and documentation standards are maintained.
  • Support consistent implementation of clinical policies, procedures, and quality standards.
Family & Interdisciplinary Collaboration
  • Support effective communication and collaboration among BCBAs, behavior technicians, families, schools, and other members of the client's care team.
  • Provide clinical guidance when complex client or family situations arise.
  • Support parent/caregiver training and effective communication regarding treatment goals and recommendations.
  • Collaborate with healthcare and educational professionals when clinically appropriate and authorized.
  • Partner closely with the Center Manager, who will oversee the administrative and operational functions of the center.
  • Maintain clear communication regarding clinical staffing needs, scheduling considerations, client readiness, and matters that affect clinical service delivery.

  • Provide clinical input into center growth while maintaining appropriate standards for quality and client care.
  • Help establish and maintain a strong clinical culture within the Raleigh center.

The role offers a hybrid arrangement, with up to 50% remote work potentially available, where permitted by clinical needs, applicable state requirements, and payer policies. While some responsibilities require an in‑person presence, eligible activities may include documentation, data review, treatment planning, caregiver training, and virtual collaboration.
