Job summary

KinderCare Learning Companies in Northville, Michigan is seeking a Center Director to lead and inspire a team of educators. You will hire, engage, and develop staff while partnering with families to deliver outstanding early education.

This on-site leadership role requires at least one year of leadership experience, strong organizational and customer service skills, and the ability to manage budgets, licensing requirements, and community partnerships.

Qualifications

• At least one year of leadership experience to develop, engage and inspire a team.
• Outstanding customer service, strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
• Budget and financial accountability with revenue-generation experience preferred.
• NAEYC/NAC and state licensing knowledge preferred.
• Meet state specific guidelines for the role.
• Able to use a computer with basic proficiency, lift a minimum of 40 pounds, indoors or outdoors.
• Able to assume low-level postures to interact with children and keep them safe.
• Read, write, speak English to communicate with children and parents.
• On-site at the center daily.
