Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking a Center Director for our Central Connecticut location. This leadership role oversees staff, families, and daily operations to ensure a high-quality child care experience aligned with our proprietary curriculum.

With a focus on enrollment growth and community engagement, you will lead tours, coordinate events, and maintain regulatory compliance while fostering a safe, joyful learning environment for children and families.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of childcare, daycare, preschool, or early childhood leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of Connecticut licensing regulations and childcare compliance requirements.
• Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example, creating an environment of trust, teamwork, positivity, and inclusivity for children, families, and staff.
• Recruit, train, coach, and inspire a high-performing team of educators.
• Support teachers in implementing The Learning Experience's proprietary curriculum.
• Ensure full compliance with Connecticut licensing regulations, health and safety standards, and company policies.
• Drive enrollment growth and family retention through exceptional customer service, center tours, open houses, and community outreach efforts.
• Manage daily center operations, including staffing, scheduling, payroll, budgeting, inventory, and purchasing.
• Plan, coordinate, and participate in community events, open houses, enrollment events, and local marketing initiatives to build brand awareness, strengthen community partnerships, and increase enrollment.
• Maintain a safe, nurturing, and joyful learning environment where children can thrive.
