Job summary

LifeLong Medical Care is seeking a Center Director to lead day-to-day operations, financial performance, and clinic administration for one or more health centers in the Bay Area. The role oversees staffing, scheduling, quality, and patient access, reporting to the Senior Center Director.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field, 5–7 years of healthcare operations leadership, and experience with HRSA requirements and ambulatory care.

Qualifications

• Budget development and financial performance oversight for a health center.
• Knowledge of HRSA Health Center Program requirements, Medi-Cal, Medicare, and UDS reporting.
• Experience managing multi-disciplinary clinical operations including administrative and nursing staff.
• Ability to lead performance improvement initiatives with data-driven methods.

Responsibilities

• Oversee budget development, financial performance, and variance management.
• Monitor operational dashboards and performance indicators to drive improvements.
• Ensure patient access, scheduling, and throughput across providers.
• Supervise staff including recruiting, hiring, training, and evaluation.
• Lead performance improvement initiatives (PDSA, Lean, DMAIC).
• Ensure compliance with HRSA, regulatory standards, and quality programs.
