Job summary

theCoderSchool Walnut Creek seeks a General Manager to lead the center with a focus on enrollment growth and day-to-day operations. You’ll build local partnerships, run marketing events, and ensure a high-quality, welcoming learning environment for students aged 7–18.

You’ll hire and mentor part-time Code Coaches, manage scheduling and billing, and keep families engaged through proactive communication. No software engineering required, but tech-curiosity and a passion for youth education are

Qualifications

• 2+ years of management, operations, or retail/hospitality leadership experience.
• Prior experience running an after-school enrichment center is a big plus.
• Sales: comfortable presenting to parents, closing enrollments, and pursuing local partnerships.
• Tech-comfortable: able to discuss technology, gaming, and basic coding concepts.

Responsibilities

• Drive Enrollment & Growth by planning local marketing events and partnerships with Walnut Creek schools and PTAs.
• Recruit & Lead Your Team by hiring, training, scheduling, and mentoring part-time Code Coaches.
