Little Hands Daycare and Learning Center in Portland, ME seeks a Center Director to lead operations, set strategic direction, and drive growth and excellence across daily activities and programs.

You will foster a positive learning environment, engage staff and students, and build partnerships with community partners to support organizational goals and student success. This full-time role offers comprehensive benefits and a chance to shape educational outcomes.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in management within an educational or university setting
• Strong background in strategic planning and budgeting
• Expertise in education administration including curriculum oversight or teaching experience at the university level
• Exceptional leadership and ability to motivate teams and drive change
• Knowledge of university policies, accreditation processes, and compliance standards
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders including staff, students, faculty and external partners
• Bachelor’s degree required; related field preferred

Responsabilités

• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve educational and operational objectives
• Oversee budgeting processes to ensure financial sustainability while maintaining quality
• Lead, manage, and support staff across departments to foster collaboration
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards, policies, and regulatory requirements
• Cultivate relationships with university partners and community organizations to promote growth
• Monitor program quality through assessment and continuous improvement initiatives
