YMCA of the East Bay is seeking a Center Director for Early Childhood Impact in Richmond, CA to lead day-to-day operations of our child development centers serving infants to age 5. The role reports to the Area Manager and requires a valid California Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit.

You'll oversee programming to ensure high-quality, inclusive, developmentally appropriate services and collaborate with families and community partners.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education or related field; 12 semester units in child development if degree is related.
• Valid California Child Development Site Supervisor or Program Director Permit (or pending). Must maintain permit with continuing education.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English strongly preferred.
• Minimum of two years of teaching or admin experience in a publicly funded preschool or child development program, including one year supervisory.
• Valid California driver's license and auto insurance; yearly DMV check.

Responsabilidades

• Lead, support, and develop staff to ensure effective program delivery.
• Oversee center and classroom operations, maintaining compliance with California regulations and Head Start/Early Learning standards.
• Foster a safe, inclusive, and nurturing environment for children, families, and staff.
• Collaborate with families and community partners to support child development and center goals.
• Manage administrative functions, including staffing, budgeting, and reporting.
