Job summary

Learning Paths Academy at Sully Station, operated by LLE Education Group, seeks a Center Director to inspire children and teachers, drive community connections, and lead daily operations at the Centreville location.

You will manage budgets, staffing, training, enrollments, and program quality while ensuring licensing compliance and safety. A passion for early childhood education and strong leadership are essential for this role.

Qualifications

• Early childhood credentials such as a CDA, CCP or AAS in ECE; Bachelor’s Degree preferred.
• Knowledge of laws, rules and regulations for childcare facilities.
• Knowledge of supervision, training, instruction methods and relevant theories.
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills for varied audiences.
• Strong interpersonal skills and teamwork orientation.
• At least one year of supervisory experience; 10+ hours of management training.

Responsibilities

• Be responsible for the operation of the center per LLE Group policies and licensing standards.
• Oversee financial health including budget, billing, tuition, fundraising, vendor relations, and inventory.
• Manage facility upkeep and grounds.
• Ensure staff training to enhance professionalism and compliance.
• Ensure staff meet required training hours per licensing standards.
• Develop and implement targeted marketing plans and Enrollment Building program.
• Evaluate programs with classroom observations and improvement plans.
• Attend meetings with District Director and leadership as directed.
• Hire, orient, train, counsel, and terminate staff.

Location: 5801/3 Stone Creek Drive, Centreville, VA 20120

What You'll Do

• Be responsible for the operation of their assigned center in accordance with all LLE Group policies and applicable licensing standards
• Be accountable for the overall financial health of the school to include budget maintenance, billing and tuition collection, fundraising, dealing with outside vendors, and maintaining inventory of all supplies
• Oversee the upkeep of the school grounds and facility
• Ensure implementation of training, to enhance the skill and professionalism of the staff within their assigned school
• Be responsible for ensuring that the staff maintain an adequate number of training hours as required by the licensing and accreditation standards
• Be responsible for the development and implementation of targeted marketing plans and the overall implementation of the Marketing Department’s Enrollment Building program
• Be responsible for the evaluation of programs, including individual classroom observations, develop plans to facilitate program improvement and the implementation of these plans in coordination with District Director and others
• Attend meetings as necessary to perform duties and aid in business and organizational development as directed by the District Director or his/her supervisors
• Be responsible for hiring, orienting, training, counseling and terminating staff

Requirements

• Early childhood professional credentials such as a CDA, CCP or AAS in ECE; Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
• Knowledge of applicable laws, rules and regulations relevant to the operations of a childcare facility
• Knowledge of the principles and practices of supervision and training, and instruction methods, programs, philosophies and theories relevant to the operation of a childcare facility
• Excellent verbal, written and listening skills and the ability to communicate to a wide-ranging audience including those with varied educational levels and backgrounds
• Strong interpersonal skills and a willingness to work as part of a team
• Ten or more hours of management training
• At least one year of experience in a supervisory role
• Successful completion of the Virginia Pre-Service Training for Child Care Staff
• Successful background check and VA licensing standards required
