Job summary

Life Skills Autism Academy, a division of Centria Autism, is seeking a Registered Behavior Technician to support 1:1 and group ABA sessions in our center-based program. You will follow individualized treatment plans, collect data, train caregivers, and maintain detailed documentation to ensure quality outcomes for children.

The position runs full-time, Monday–Friday, 8:30am–4:30pm, in center. Ideal candidates have currently certified RBTs, reliable transportation, and a commitment to safety and

Qualifications

• Must hold and maintain RBT certification as issued by BACB.
• Must be willing to participate in background check process.
• Minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Willing to obtain CPR and First Aid certification.
• Willing to obtain TB skin test annually.
• Must be physically capable (lifting up to 50 lbs, on-floor work, etc.).
• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform repetitive tasks accurately.
• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong cultural competency and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct client care in 1:1 and group settings using intensive teaching and natural environment training.
• Follow treatment plans established by BCBA/BC.
• Collect, record, and summarize data on observable client behavior.
• Assist with parent and caregiver training.
• Ensure timely and proper documentation.
• Communicate progress with parents and caregivers as instructed by BCBA/BC.
• Report critical incidents and safety concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, organized work and therapy environment.
• Assist BCBA/BC in preparing client materials and assessments.
